This hands-on institute is designed to maximize opportunities for participant learning and networking. Featuring 16 of the leading assessment faculty in the country, the institute is structured to create a cumulative learning experience and to provide a comprehensive introduction to the theory and practice of first-year assessment. Every attendee will receive a free copy of Guidelines for Evaluating The First-Year Experience, 2nd edition.
Exploring both quantitative and qualitative assessment practices, concurrent sessions and workshops allow for an examination of major issues while maximizing participant interaction and building connections between assessment theory and practice.
