Proposals are now being accepted for the 37th Annual North East Association for
Institutional Research (NEAIR) Conference to be held at the Saratoga Hilton, Saratoga
Springs, New York. The conference theme “Fountain of Knowledge: IR Collaboration
for Effective Change,” should stimulate research, scholarship,
and best practices on many topics relating to institutional research, planning,
institutional effectiveness, and student learning outcomes assessment.
A variety of presentation formats are available: Contributed Paper, Poster, Workshare,
and Techshare. (Techshare sessions provide an excellent opportunity to demonstrate
the application of technology – hardware and/or software – within an IR office.)
Pre-Conference Workshop proposals are also being accepted, for either half- or full-day
sessions. Workshops are intended to be hands-on learning experiences that sharpen
the skills and enhance the expertise of research, planning, and assessment practitioners.
Deadline for proposals is June 16, 2010. Descriptions of presentation
formats, proposal guidelines, and the proposal submission site are available on
our web site.
The Annual NEAIR Conference is the perfect venue for sharing with colleagues. Consider
submitting a proposal to help make this conference a success.
